Your Top Advice for Students:

Get involved with more than just studying for your degree (although this is the main reason for being a student) – Make the most of your time at RGU/Aberdeen - employers look for graduates who can prove their skills through having a variety of real-life examples / experiences. 

Your Favourite Part of Aberdeen: The Beach Boulevard 

Favourite film / book: Any sci-fi film – especially space opera (i.e. Star Wars type films)

Teasing out people’s strengths and helping them to present them in a way that’s meaningful both to them and to employers.

Your Top Advice for Students:

Don’t worry if you don’t know what you want to do.  It’s normal.  Explore, try things and never stop learning.  You’re likely to change direction many times, as you change and develop and want different things at different stages of your life.  Just make sure you keep adding to your skills so that you stay employable at each stage.

Your Favourite Part of Aberdeen: So many!  The streets around the cathedral, Belmont Street, Thistle Street, Hazelhead Park, Duthie Park…… 

Favourite film / book: Out of Africa with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford / Manifest Your Destiny by Wayne Dyer
