Staff changes in the Sports Centre
Earlier this month we said goodbye to Cammy as he left the Sports Centre to begin a new career in the fire service. Cammy was well known face around the centre during the 11 years that he worked with us. We will all miss him and he goes with our best wishes for the future.
Mark also stepped down from full-time work to go and study teaching at Edinburgh University. Mark is another vital member of the team here at QMU Sports so we are delighted to announce that he will be staying with us in a part-time capacity. You’ll most likely find Mark working at weekends and some evenings.
Replacing Cammy and Mark will be Ellen and Liam. Ellen has been with us since October 2018 but will now make the jump from part-time to full time. In her short time with us she has already made an impression among members with her inductions, programming and class delivery. Please introduce yourself to Ellen next time you’re in!
Finally, we would like to welcome Liam to team. Liam joins us from Napier University Sports Centre. Liam is a highly motivated and highly experienced instructor having worked in various other facilities. Liam will begin working with us on Monday 7th October. Please say hi to Liam if you see him and welcome him to QMU.
