Quinoa Porridge Recipe

2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 apple (red or green)
50g quinoa
120ml coconut, almond, soya or rice milk
20g honey
1 tsp. cinnamon
50g chia seeds (optional)


  • Grate the apples
  • Rinse quinoa and transfer into a pot
  • Pour in ½ of chosen milk, grated apple and the honey
  • Bring to a boil, and reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes with a lid on
  • Add remaining milk, cinnamon and vanilla
  • Cook for a further 4 minutes, take off the heat and add chia seeds if using
  • Season to taste with honey
