Halls Discount for Postgraduates

By sophiebk 06 May 2021

Did you know Postgraduate (PG) students can get discounted accommodation in our Halls? Whether you’re a continuing PG student, or will be starting a new course, halls could be the ideal option for you.

New for 2021, if you choose to live in our accommodation alongside other PGs, as part of a 51 week student licence, you could get the equivalent of a £612 reduction over the course of your contract. You can see the discounted prices here.

There are some great PG accommodation options at various locations, with room types ranging from single rooms to self-contained studio apartments. There are ensuite, shared bathroom, shared kitchen and studio options available for you to choose from, with prices to suit every budget.

All of our on-campus halls (with the exception of Melville Grove) are available for PG students. If you chose a room with a shared kitchen, we guarantee that you will live with other postgraduate. You can view all of the accommodation options here.

Booking with us is straight forward, and you do not need to pay a deposit or find a guarantor. If your plans change later in the year, you can cancel your accommodation and we will not charge you if you do not arrive.

How to apply

You can apply for accommodation as soon as you have received your offer to study. Once we have received your application and your status at the University of Liverpool is confirmed as an expected entrant, we will send you an offer for accommodation. We are able to offer accommodation to most PG applicants

International postgraduate students are guaranteed accommodation with us, so long as you apply no later than 31st July 2021. If you apply after this date, we will do our best to secure you good quality accommodation, either in our halls or with one of our preferred providers.

Become a Residential Adviser

Residential Advisers are postgraduate or mature students who live in our halls and provide overnight pastoral support for the residents, and in return receive heavily discounted accommodation. You can find out more information and how to apply here.
