TV Licensing refund for students moving home for the summer
If you purchased a TV Licence at the start of the academic year, you will have a full three months remaining on your licence. But you can now claim a refund for the final unused period over the summer months!
The refund could be worth £36.37, which could definitely come in handy!
To be able to claim for this, you need to have a TV Licence, be leaving their halls or rented accommodation and moving back home to a licensed address.
The answer is YES if you watch, record or stream programmes at the same time as they are shown on TV. And it doesn't just apply to TVs... it's the same for laptops, games consoles, tablets, mobile phones, or any other device.
