5 ridiculous ways to rinse your loan

By BzAimee 25 Apr 2017

Okay, so it's difficult to ignore your bank balance going from zero to hero overnight...

It might feel like you've just won the jackpot, but sadly for many, the excitement won't last very long. Especially if you've just finished exams and are looking for a way to blow off steam..

If you're gonna rack up the big bills though, you may as well spend it on something slightly more worthwhile, right?

  • Turn up to your lectures in style
Rent yourself a Ferrari. You can borrow one of these red beauties for 3 days for just £2910! Bargain!
  • Buy a phone like no other...
A luxury Gold iPhone 6 for only £1974?!  It does exactly the same as the one you already have, except it's guaranteed to not break...due to you being too scared to take it out of the box. Plus no one else will have one...you gadget guru you!

  • Keep out of the kitchen
Book a top michelin star chef to cook for you everyday for a week - £2100. You couldn't possibly live on takeaways and microwave meals!

  • Need a friend?
Hire the ‘Animal Planet’ to cheer you up if you start to feel a little homesick. For the week it's £1400. Because if this little guy can't cheer you up, I don't know what can.

  • New year, new you? Obviously
Want to look as good as possible for all those plans for feshers you're getting lined up? Why not hire Fabrice Le Physique (He’s a famous PT) to train you for an hour? £1000!

These all sound ridiculous right?

So why is blowing £1000+ in a week by standing at the bar shouting “drinks on me” to a bunch of randoms and ordering takeaways every night a good idea?

It's not!

The best way to make the most of that injection of money is spreading it across the term, that way you will be able to treat yourself now and again. Something you might not have been able to do at the end of last term...Am I right?

So what's it going to be? Spending the rest of the year in your room alone because you can't afford to go out? Or getting out and enjoying everything student life has to offer?

It's a no brainer!!
