Speak Up!

By UWEaccomm 02 Nov 2018

A new campaign has been launched to help UWE Bristol students recognise, speak up and challenging unacceptable behaviour such as harassment, discrimination and violence. Speak Up is raising awareness about these types of incidents to create an inclusive campus where diversity is celebrated.

Find out how you can raise awareness about consent, bystander intervention and activism with our Consent Action Workshop on the 7th November.

Join in the conversations at our Uwe Speak Up Against Violence and Abuse panel discussion on the 26th November. In recognition of the UN International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25/11/18). Join us to:

  • Hear from our panel of experts in the field about what UWE is doing

  • Ask questions to the panel

  • Learn about the Speak Up Campaign and collect your Speak Up badge

  • Enjoy the refreshments

Click on the relevant booking link above to reserve your place. Sessions are limited.

Find out more about the campaign and related events on the Speak Up webpage. Contact speakupinfo@uwe.ac.uk with any comments or questions.
