Safety in your accommodation: Visitors
Whilst we know that making friends at university is a big part of the experience, and having your new friends live so close to you is a massive bonus, it’s still really important to consider safety whilst living in halls.
With your friends visiting often and your flatmates planning on having people over, it might be hard to keep track of who’s in the house sometimes. Make sure you know the person at the door before you let them in - you can always ask them who they’re visiting.
Anyone staying the night must complete the ‘overnight visitor request’ form which can be found on our Residents Guide page: https://www1.uwe.ac.uk/students/accommodation/currentstudentinformation/residentsguide.aspx
Visitors must be signed in at either Cotswold or Wallscourt receptions.
Remember, any visitors viewing flats will always be accompanied by a UWE staff member. All contractors, staff members and all students will always carry a valid UWE ID, they’ll be more than happy to show you if you ask!
