Happy HallsLife Halloween

By JForrester 03 Nov 2019

No tricks, just treats… HallsLife celebrated Halloween in style this year!

Tuesday saw a whole host of Halloween activity starting with a Bring Your Own Bowl which over a 130 students feasted on pasta bake and vegan chilli. Whether you were lining your stomachs in preparation for SUesday, or just couldn’t be bothered to cook, we made sure no one left hungry!

Students then headed over to Union 1 where we had a face painter ready to prep you for the SUesday Halloween special! We saw everything from Day of the Dead sugar skulls, to skeletons and clowns through to pumpkins and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

Alternatively, if you were getting ready for SUesday or were saving yourself for other Halloween events we were doing HallsLife deliveries of Halloween goodies to your flats! Packs included, fancy dress items, fake blood and of course, some sweet treats.

The celebrations did not stop there, on Thursday night we were at Glenside for an evening of pumpkin carving, Halloween films and treats! The creative juices were flowing, we had cat pumpkins, ghost pumpkins and traditional scary pumpkins too!

If your Halloween costume is tired and over worn, we are running a Halloween swap shop at the Student Union Reception where you can bring in your old items and swap them for something else!
