5 Ways to Celebrate Christmas in Bristol

By UWEaccomm 24 Nov 2019

Who's feeling festive? Here at Accommodation Services, we feel like its never to early to start the celebration.

Located in the heart of Bristol,  Broadmead's Christmas market is your one-stop-shop for everything Christmas, with a little bit of added Bristol charm, of course!

This tradition German style market has all the bratwurst and stollen you could ask for.  With plenty of seating and live music, you can really make an evening of it.

Perfect for Christmas shopping, there's an array of wintery chalets selling sweet winter treats & unique gifts.

Celebrate Christmas in style at The Spiegeltent. This cosy Dutch style travelling tent, complete with plush interior hosts circus performances, stunning cabarets and three course meals, for the perfect festive dining experience.

They also boast a fab line up of bands and DJs too, be sure to take a look at their event pages, to find your extra special Christmas night out.

So not technically in Bristol, but only a super quick 15 minute train journey away. Bath's Christmas market draws in quite a crowd, so be prepared, weekdays and daytimes are often a bit quieter.

Set against the breath-taking and very instagrammable backdrop of the cathedral this beautiful Georgian city is full to the brim with Chalets for the festive season selling Christmas decorations and ornament, handcrafted jewellery and of course food and drink.

You may not have ventured to Cribbs Causeway yet, but this undercover shopping haven is easily reachable from the Frenchay Campus interchange.

Get your skates on ....  Winter Wonderland boasts the biggest ice track in the UK. There's also an enchanted ice castle and plenty of food and drink for you to tuck into,

Our last festive favourite, Millennium square and The Harbourside market.

This is the one for you, if you love Bristol's independent spirit. Stalls of homemade arts and craft, locally sourced food and much more line the Watershed walkway.

Once you’re done with shopping, pop around the corner for a skate on the Millennium square ice rink and then finish of your evening by the fire with a hot chocolate in the Apres Ski Hut.
