If you've decided that 2018 is the year you'll get your body on point and become a gym junkie, this will be right up your street!
Sometimes you need a bit of a boost before or after your gym session and that's where protein comes in. There are lots of variations that taste amazing but still give you all the benefits, you can have anything from milkshakes to chocolate bars.
I've selected my favourite protein bars that I think you should try ASAP:
Another great addition to the Graze range! This is perfect if you need a bit of a refuel to keep you going and it's more filling than you think. You can order Graze to your door or pick it up from a supermarket.
Another delicious flapjack that is gluten free and suitable for vegans. The thin layer of dark chocolate really tops it off and gives it that extra thing to make it stand out from the others.
The Clif Bar is high in fibre and protein so if you're needing a lift before the gym or before a big sports game - this is for you. The taste isn't as good as the flapjacks so it loses a star, but still pretty impressive!
This small bar contains 10g of protein with honey, vegan rice protein, chia and pumpkin seeds. The taste isn't amazing but really helped me recover from the gym and tackle my (uphill) walk home.
None of these cost more than £2 and they're even cheaper if you buy in bulk so they're perfect for your student budget.
