Freshers' week

Freshers’ week (i.e. your first week at Swansea University) will be full of events, fairs, inductions and nights’ out. Make the most out of your first week at university, meet as many people as possible and experience as much University life as you like before term officially begins.

When’s Freshers’ Fair?
If you’re new to the university, Freshers’ Fair is a must. It's an opportunity for you to get to know a bit more about what goes on. If you’re ecstatic about Surfing or want to join the gaming, netball, or any other club for that matter, then Freshers’ Fair will have a club for you. Plus there will be freebies! Freshers’ Fair will be held on the following dates:

  • Bay Campus: Monday, 23rd of September
  • Singleton Campus: Wednesday 25th of September

What else is going on during Freshers’ week?
There’s a whole host of events including Fresh and Free, Hustle at Sin City, Bingo Lingo in the Refrectory and parties at Tooters, as well as Open Mic Nights and Karaoke to name a few. Join the Swansea University Freshers 2019 Group ( SU Freshers Group) and keep up to date with all events organized by the Students’ Union here (SU Fest 2019 Event facebook group
