Make your own ‘upcycled’ Halloween costume - 30th October between 11am and 3pm in Taliesin.

Every year tonnes of new halloween costumes are bought and quickly discarded, creating a huge amount of material wasted. Get creative and create your own instead. Just bring some old clothes with you.

Beach Clean – 6th

Come and join Ben the Biodiversity Officer on his monthly beach clean. Meet at the board walk (behind the Great Hall) at 1pm or come and find us on the beach anytime up until 4pm. If you’re Singleton based, join the Students Union and Discovery on Swansea Bay Beach (opposite the campus) between 12pm and 2pm as part of the #InTheLoop waste and recycling campaign.  

All equipment provided. Please dress for the weather.

With a third of under 35 year old buying a new jumper each year and wth 0ne in four new jumpers only worn once before being thrown away, we are offering you the opportunity to make your own unique Chrismas jumper!  Stand out from the crowd and get expert tuition on how to upcycle your own Chirstmas jumper ready for the festive season! Bring your own jumper or top and any specific decorations you might like to add to your jumpers. Other items will be available.
