Love Sheffield? Join SCCRAG!
Do you live, work, study or have a general interest in Sheffield city centre? If so we want to hear from you!
SCCRAG, Sheffield City Centre Residents' Action Group are looking for students to get involved to help create a vibrant, liveable and attractive city centre for the benefit of everyone.
Public meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month to provide a forum for people to raise issues affecting life in the city centre, which may include topics such as inner city living, heritage, anti-social behaviour, events, pollution, begging, parking and street crime.
SCCRAG is made up of a committee and members of the group hold positions at organisations such as Sheffield City Council, South Yorkshire Police and Sheffield Hallam University.
We want students to come along to our open meetings and get involved!
This is a great opportunity to be part of the wider Sheffield community and raise issues that are important to you. Maybe you have some ideas on how the city centre can be improved.
What's more, being part of a local volunteer action group will look great on your CV and allow you to gain valuable experience in networking and committee work.
