The Assistive Technology Service could be the answer you're looking for!
They offer training sessions throughout the week at both campuses to support study skills and promote the software available on AppsAnywhere, the Sheffield Hallam 'app store' for accessing software on the computers at uni.
There are plenty of tools to support you with things like:
- Creating source lists and references
- Planning essays
- Recording your lectures
- Enhancing note taking
- Practising presentations
- Revising more efficiently
Taught sessions are held on the following days:
- Tuesday 3pm-4pm
- Thursday 5pm-6pm
- Friday 12.30-1.30pm
