Want to go shopping?

By BZashleigh 01 Sep 2017

Heading into town for a spot of window shopping or looking for that new outfit for your night out?

From high-street to boutique, Aberdeen has all the shops you could wish for!

Head to the high-street favourites

Union Street, 'The Granite Mile', is one of the city's most popular shopping streets, which will also lead you to other shops in the West End. If you'd prefer everything to be under one roof in a shopping centre, visit the Trinity Centre, Union Square or Bon Accord

Mingle at the markets

The indoor market hall and Thistle Street Market are your best bet for fresh produce and food on-the-go. On the first and last Saturday of each month, the Aberdeen Country Fair takes over Belmont Street as one of the largest markets in Scotland - it's great for local produce!

The International Street Market is definitely one to look out for, which comes to the city around 3 times per year. You'll see more than 70 stalls with traders from more than 12 countries, selling tasty continental food.

Want something a little different?

The Academy is a converted Victorian school house where you can eat, drink and shop. There are independent shops and an open-air courtyard filled with bars and restaurants.

For everything else...

IKEA
If you've forgotten to pack a few of the essentials or want some extra furniture for your new room, don't worry! An IKEA order and collection point is only 15 minutes from campus!

Don't forget!
RGU:Union is on campus for any last-minute supplies you may need!

Happy shopping!
