New Prentice 111 Bus Service comes to QMU

We know everyone dreads getting on the number 30 bus... it has become a right of passage at QMU.

So alleviate this pain, the number 111 service is now coming to QMU.

The 111 ‘Connecting East Lothian to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary’ service starts in Haddington and travels along the East Lothian coast through Gullane, Aberlady, Longniddry, Port Seton and Prestonpans before travelling through Wallyford, Whitecraig, Inveresk and Musselburgh on it’s way to the ERI via QMU. It also connects on selected journey’s with our 122 service which provides further links to Tranent, Elphinstone, Ormiston and Pencaitland.  

  • QMU students will be offered a discounted fare which is 2/3rds of the adult fare.
  • In addition we will offer students a 10 journey ticket for the price of 9 journeys.
  • We will also offer QMU Staff a 10 journey ticket for the price of 8 journeys.

All staff or students need do to get any of these offers is show their QMU pass to the driver.
