I hope everyone is coping okay with their coursework and mid semester stress?!
At this time of year our moods are usually quite low and we just want to stay at home and do nothing (I.e. eat junk food and watch Jeremy Kyle!)
However, I've recently started trying to pick myself up by following these two very simple steps:
- Walking - One of the simplest ways to pick yourself up and clear your mind is to walk. Now, I'm not talking a long distance marathon, just as little as a 15-20 minute walk to the shops. You will feel refreshed and ready for the day ahead!
- Taking the stairs - I have started doing this recently, mostly because all of my seminars seem to be on Level 3 this Semester, but it has really helped and I feel ready for the class ahead of me.
Being a student and life in general can cause a lot of stress. A small change can make a huge difference in the future.
At QMU there are plenty of courses available to us to help with fatigue. Why not try out some of my recommendations below.
