Get protected from Measles

By Megan 14 Oct 2016

There has been an increase in the number of cases of measles in Edinburgh. To be fully protected you need to be immunised with both doses of the MMR vaccine. Please check with your GP.

Have you got a rash, runny nose, cough and do you feel very unwell?
If so, limit your contact with other people, and call your GP first or NHS24 on 111 if it is after 5pm.

Don't go straight to your GP surgery or Emergency Department (A&E). Call ahead, that way if you do have measles you won't pass it on to others.

For more information, please visit Immunisation Scotland.
