Accommodation

Do I need insurance for the belongings in my room?

By Megan 18 Jul 2017

Make sure you have the right cover whilst staying at QMU

Every student in residence has a basic package of personal possessions and liability insurance which can be extended for an additional fee.

The insurance is effective from the time you arrive until the end of your contract.

Personal contents insurance is provided under the University Block Hall Scheme through Endsleigh Insurance.
You can collect your insurance certificate when you arrive.

When viewing your cover and choosing extra cover options, start to think about the items you’ll be taking with you to university, and which of these items you’ll take outside your room and may not be covered by the basic insurance package. Visit Endsleigh Insurance for further details.
