Cycle Connections - What's on in November

Mon 9th-15th: QMU Sustainability Week

Tue 10th: Puncture Repair 

Find us in The Tent from 11am-1pm for demos and tips on puncture repair. Stop by any time and for as long as you like

Wed 11th: Bike Maintenance

As always we will be at Bike Shed 2 (by accommodation blocks). From fixing punctures, tuning gears or oiling a chain, we've got you covered. 

Thur 12th: Cycle Fitness

Book your spot on eventbrite and join us for some steady laps of Arthurs Seat. Last week we managed 3-with some nice breaks to watch the fire works!

Fri 13th: Bike Marking & Lock Exchange

British Transport Police are back from 8:30am-11am to security mark your bike and offer a free upgrade to poor quality bike locks. 

Come by the blue gazebo by the main bike racks.

Tue 17th: Cycle Skills

Send us an email to book a 1 hour cycle skills 1:1 session. Held on campus, we will help build confidence around junctions, indicating and placement.

Free to all staff and students. 

16th-20th: Cycle Chalk Board

Come write a comment on our chalk board. What would make you feel safer on the roads? The board will be moving around campus so keep your eyes peeled!

All Month

Inner tube recycling

Drop your damaged inner tubes off at Bike Shed 2 and we will send them to Cycle of Good whose trained tailors upcycle them it wonderful belts, bags, wallets...

Toolbox

We have a brand new tool box located at security. If you have any mechanicals on campus just sign it out and return once you are done. Complete with instructions.

Just Eat Cycles

Hire a JEC for just £1.50 per hour. Takes just 10mins to cycle to the new docking stations at Lidl and Brunton Theatre.

Bike Hire

We still have 2 small Whyte Hire Bikes available. Suitable for students up to 5ft4. Send us a message for more info.
