Converge Challenge is a high profile pan-Scotland company creation competition and entrepreneurship development programme for staff, students, and recent graduates (up to 12 months after graduation i.e. from June 2016) of Scottish Universities and Research Institutes aimed at creating a new generation of entrepreneurs in Scotland.
A prize fund of £150,000 alongside great networking opportunities and a comprehensive support and training package are available. There are three winning categories for the Converge Challenge 2017: Converge Challenge Award, KickStart Award and Social Enterprise Award. Entry is by application, which you can do through the Converge Challenge Website between 7 February and 10 April 2017.
Converge Challenge is looking for ambitious and creative thinkers with innovative ideas that we can help to develop for the commercial world. The Converge Challenge series is a great opportunity to develop business skills, build confidence and learn from some of the country's most successful entrepreneurs. They work with any industry sector, product or service-based idea at any stage of the development.
