8th and 9th September 2018 - dates for your diary!
The main arrival day is Saturday 8th September, the date when most of you will collect your keys and make your BIG move into the residences. Induction Week will start on Monday 10th September.
If you have a 40 or 50 week contract, the earliest you may arrive is 10am on Friday 7th September. If you are likely to arrive outwith the hours of 10am and 5pm on any day you must contact us so that we can make arrangement for your arrival.
First year students will be given their room allocations on arrival.
Prior to moving into halls, you will be emailed the online e-induction. In this e-induction you will learn about the arrivals process and what you can expect when you move in.
Once you have completed the e-induction, you will be able to book an arrival slot. The slots are time specific and will give you the time to unload and unpack with the help of our welcome assistants onsite.
*Please arrive at your designated time to make it an easier and quicker moving in process. If you are an international student and your arrival is delayed please let Accommodation Services know otherwise your room may be re-let*
- Please remember to bring photographic identification (e.g. passport or driving licence) so that we can issue you with your keys

Out of Hours: Security Desk (Entrance of Main Academic
Car access to your Block entrance is restricted to drop-off only. Once you have unloaded your belongings you must move your car to the main car park before you unpack. Please ensure that this is done as swiftly as is reasonably possible to allow others to use the unloading space.
INFORMATION SESSION FOR PARENTS
The University will be holding Parent Talks at 1pm and 3pm on Saturday 8th September in the Main Academic Building. We recommend your parents/guardians make time to attend.
