Hopefully you were able to join us on the 1st March to help support #unimentalhealthday. But our community continues to support your wellbeing and aims to increase acceptance across campus. Here are some things you can do over the next few weeks for your wellbeing or to get involved on campus?
Attend a free mindfulness session (Manchester)
Wednesday 7th, 14th and 21st March - All Saints Library Room 510
Mindfulness is the practice of bringing greater attention to the present moment, gently becoming more aware of ourselves and what we’re experiencing and doing. No experience is needed. No need to book, just turn up but please be aware that these are practical sessions, so arrive promptly. More info here.
Make use of the free gym facilities (Crewe)
Open term time Mon-Fri 8am-8pm & Sat-Sun 9am-5pm
Students and staff have free use of the gym at the Cheshire Sports Centre – simply complete a registration form and health questionnaire at the Sports Centre reception before you use the gym for the first time. Inductions are offered to all new members. Free membership also includes gym classes and access to Crewe active campus sessions.
Try a free active campus session (Manchester)

Get active more often with free sports, activities and classes, on and around campus every week. No fee, no kit, no commitment - all you need is comfy clothes and the right frame of mind and you're good to go. More information here.
Celebrate with friends at The Union (Crewe)
Wednesday 14th March - 10am onwards.
One great way to maintain happiness is to spend time with friends and remember traditions. Why not head to The Union for I Love Wednesdays - St Patrick's Day special! Of course, drink responsibly and enjoy your time with friends.
