Stay with us!

By LisaResLife 28 Jun 2019

If you're looking for accommodation for September there are some great options still currently available to book through the University.

The University has an accommodation guarantee until the 15th July - so you'll need to register your interest with us before then in order to take advantage of it!

Daisy Bank

Our cheapest en-suite option, Daisy Bank is amazing value at £116 a week. For that great price contents insurance, high speed broadband, all your utilities and even a Greater Manchester Bus Pass is included.

Door to door it'll take you only 20 minutes to get to your lectures, using your free bus pass - or only 30 minutes walking if you'd prefer. You'll be in the heart of Manchester's student community, close to the city centre and campus whilst also able to take advantage of the great local green spaces, supermarkets, bars and restaurants.

No risk cancellation. Book now and if you don't make your grades - you won't be held liable for your contract and any money you've paid will be returned (Terms and Conditions do apply - see your contract for more details).

There's a 24/7 reception desk and security so there's always someone available should you need them and you'll also get support in your halls from our Residential Life Team - there to settle you into the accommodation and let you know about free events going on.

Daisy Bank flats have 3-4 bedrooms and your room will have it's own en-suite shower and toilet with a shared kitchen and living area in your flat. There are car parking spaces available should you want them (fees apply) and also on-site laundry facilities (coin-operated).

Wilmslow Park

A great location for student accommodation, Wilmslow Park is on Oxford Road, the main road into the City Centre and set between the Campus and Fallowfield, Manchester's lively student area.

You'll be staying in a flat exclusively reserved for Manchester Met students, meaning you'll be meeting lots of people studying in the same place as you.

Wilmslow Park is a contemporary living space with huge communal areas for you to take advantage of - there's table tennis, study spaces and even bookable meeting rooms you can use for group projects, spaces for you to use games consoles with your friends, a large screen TV and even an on-site gym with all the equipment you could desire.

You'll really have the best of both worlds, being close to the city centre and campus (a 20 minute walk or ten minute bus ride) whilst also being next to to a whole host of local shops, restaurants and bars and green space. Whitworth Park is just across the road, if you fancy taking a breather from your studies or relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

At £152 a week Wilmslow Park House is competitively priced for all of the extras you'll be getting, including contents insurance, all utilities, high speed broadband. You'll have a 3/4 sized bed (which is larger than a single, just a bit smaller than a double) and an en-suite toilet and shower room.

There are on-site laundry facilities also available, security and a reception desk which is staffed 24 hours a day, should you ever need assistance with anything.

You can also book without worrying about liability should you not get your grades - you can cancel your contract and get back your pre-payment of rent (Terms and Conditions apply, see your contract for full details).

New Medlock

New Medlock is two minutes walk from the Campus and right in the heart of the city.

All the rooms you can book through us have an elegant, modern design with an en-suite toilet and shower facilities and are exclusively for Manchester Met students.

You'll be able to take advantage of all the perks of city living - restaurants, bars and shops are all on your doorstep as well as Oxford Road train station being just a 6 minute walk away.

New Medlock has a 24/7 reception and security service, so you'll always feel secure and they'll be someone to contact if you ever need assistance.

£152 per week rent includes high speed broadband, contents insurance and all utilities included as well as fortnightly cleaning of the communal kitchen and living spaces.  You'll even have access to a nearby Unite gym, saving you even more on extra gym fees!

There's an on-site table tennis and outside spaces for you to take advantage of as well as (slightly less exciting) laundry facilities.

Our exclusive reserved flats are all occupied by Manchester Met students, giving you a unique chance to get to know some of your peers outside of lectures.

There'll be support from our Residential Life team to help you get settled in to your new home and they'll organise loads of events you can attend throughout the year so you can meet your neighbours from the other flats.

We also have an exciting prize draw - if you book a room through us in either New Medlock or Daisy Bank you'll be entered into a prize draw to win £1,000 off your rent!

Simply enter the code HALL1K when you book a room and you'll be entered - entries to the competition close on the 15th July so be quick!
