New Student? Learn about Res Life at MMU
Joining MMU accommodation is the start of something very exciting. You are about to become a part of a supportive, fun and caring community, and we are excited to meet you and get to know you over the next few months.
We are the university's Residential Life team, who are responsible for the welfare of students living in halls, as well as for running events. So, who are we and what do we do?
The main people you will meet are our Residential Advisors (RAs) - who live in halls and visit students and run events. You'll recognize their orange and black hoodies! They run a drop-in service for confidential advice and generally just try to help people and be the friendly face around campus.
As a team, we have run football tournaments, cooking classes, charity collections and the list goes on and on; our aim is to create a community feel in halls, educating our students but also letting you guys have a the best time possible throughout the year.
