Netball at MMU

By MMUSport 06 Oct 2017

Want to represent your halls or just fancying playing more regularly? Well why not give our brand new Netball league a go!

Bring out your competitive side and compete in our league against another group of friends, a neighbouring hall of residence or a rival faculty! Our officiated netball league is a great alternative to the highly competitive club environment and provides students with an opportunity to play the game at a more sociable and friendly level.

Where does it take place?

Sugden Sports Centre, 114 Grosvenor St, Manchester, M1 7HL.

When does it take place?

The league takes place every Tuesday evening during term time between 5pm and 7pm.  If you are unsure about playing in a league why not pop down to our free Active Campus netball session on a Thursday from 4.30-5.30pm at Sugden Sports Centre and one of our Activators will be able to tell you a bit more about the league.

How much does it cost?

Registration this year is completely FREE, you can register your team by emailing sport@mmu.ac.uk .

What if I don't have a team?

You don’t need to worry if you don’t have a team, you can just pop down to our session every Tuesday and we will find you a team to play with and become friends for life.
