Moving into private housing? Want to be in a video?
Manchester Met University are working with Manchester Student Homes and Campuslife to produce a series of videos looking at what life is really like living in private housing. We’re looking to follow a group of students as they move into their house for the first time and see how they deal with life in the private sector as opposed to uni accommodation.
Each video will look at a different topic, from organising cleaning with your housemates, to balancing uni work with part time jobs, socialising and everything else in between. The videos are to help first year students get a better idea of what to expect when living in private accommodation.
We’re looking to film with around 4-6 students in one house, and we’ll be filming with you over the course of around 4 days in September / October later this year. We can give you 1 x £300 voucher to spend where you like.
If you’re interested in taking part, please email Oliver - firstname.lastname@example.org
