5 reasons we LOVE the Queen

By bzbeth 07 Jun 2018

In celebration of Queen Elizabeth's official birthday (9th June), we've put together some of the BEST things about her...

Because let's face it, everyone loves the Queen, don't they?

  1. Her outfits

She's not just the Queen of the United Kingdom, she's also the Queen of exquisite taste and style! You're always likely to spot her in a vibrant colour or print with white gloves and she pulls it off better than we would. What's your favourite look?
  2. Her life story

Without her, you wouldn't be able to binge your favourite Netflix show. The Crown might make her life seem a little bit too dramatic but without her, a lot of things wouldn't have happened over the last 60 years.
  3. Her dogs

Dogs are man's best friend and the Queen is no different. She's never too far from her beloved corgis whether she's walking around Buckingham Palace or boarding a plane with them. You can't help but love that, can you?
  4. Her sense of humour

The Queen always has the ability to get us laughing. Recently when she met David Attenborough she joked about President Trump and the grandkids ruining her Christmas tree and who could forget her hilarious video with grandson Prince Harry. She's pretty much everyone's hilarious (and sometimes sassy) Gran.
  5. Her marriage

Her and Prince Philip are actual relationship goals! If The Crown has taught us anything, it's that Philip was a bit of a 'lad' but Queen Elizabeth always stuck beside him and even in their 90's they make a very cute couple, don't you agree?

Don't miss Trooping the Colour this Saturday to celebrate the Queen's official birthday!
