Your helping hands: Wardens and RAs in halls

By BzBarlow 08 Aug 2018

Even if this isn’t your first time in halls, it’s always good to know there’s support in place for you should you need it.

In your hall, you'll have a Warden and a team of Residential Advisors (RAs) who live there and are there to provide support and advice if you’re having any problems. Our Wardens are senior members of staff at the University, and our RAs are typically older students or postgraduates who have been there and done it before so are in a great position to help you out!

Besides offering support and advice, the RA team...

  • have an overnight rota to help out whenever you may need it
  • help organise events for your halls

You’ll meet your Warden and RAs over the arrivals weekend so look out for them in their blue hoodies, and be sure you attend your Wardens welcome talk to meet the team and get some important information.
