What is Give it a Go?

By hughero 06 Sep 2018

There are loads of activities you can get involved in at University, and sometimes the hardest part is narrowing down which ones to try!

The Give it a Go programme (GIAG) is run by the Guild of Students and gives you the chance to try loads of new things. This year we will be running a Halls Exclusive Give it a Go Programme!

Most of the activities are either free or heavily discounted (up to 75% off the real cost to run). GIAG gives you a chance to try something new, without paying the high price tag!

Previous Halls programmes have included:

  • Day trips to places like Cambridge, Bakewell, Chatsworth House, and Stratford-Upon- Avon.
  • Activities like Go Ape, go karting, Air Kix, and trampolining.
  • Free sports classes.
  • Skills sessions like cookery classes, language classes, presentation skills, and CV workshops.

The Halls Exclusive GIAG Programme will be published online very soon.

Keep checking back on Halls Life and also on the Guild website for details of the forthcoming programme.

Events planned include a Kat Von D makeup masterclass, a Lush Party, Clubbercise, Manchester Christmas Markets and Go Karting!
