The University is holding Open days for prospective students on:
Friday 23rd June 2017
Saturday 24th June 2017
As part of these Open Days the Halls at the following locations will be available for viewing by visitors:
• Crown Place
• Vine Court
• Philharmonic Court
• Melville Grove
• McNair Hall
• Morton House
• Lady Mountford House
• Rankin Hall
• Salisbury Hall
The tours of the Halls of Residence will show all the facilities at each Site/Hall and will include the viewing of student rooms. We need students who are currently living in the Halls listed above to work as tour guides for us on the above dates.
The hours of work for these events are 9:30am to 4pm and the rate of pay is £8.25 per hour. You would have an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes, however you would be provided with a free lunch pack.
Ideally we are looking for people who are available to work both days, however please still apply if you are only available for one of these days. In either case you would need to be available for the full time specified (9.30am to 4pm).
As these dates fall outside of term time we are therefore ideally looking for students who live in the local area or are staying on in Liverpool after term ends.
We are also happy to use those students who live further afield and are willing to travel to Liverpool for these events, but please note that unfortunately travel expenses cannot be reimbursed.
It is possible however for us to arrange free accommodation for you at Halls for those who would need this in order to take part (this would be for the Thursday and Friday evenings only). Please indicate if you would need accommodation in order to take part when you apply.
The deadline to apply is 12pm on Monday 5th June 2017. Please complete your application by this time.
We will then contact successful candidates by 5pm on Monday 12th June 2017 to let you know if you have been selected and to provide training details.
If you have not been contacted by Monday 12th June 2017 this will mean you have not been successful in your application.
