Exams are on the horizon… If you fancy getting out of your room to study here’s some information on the different revision areas available around Halls for quiet study in preparation for exams.

GREENBANK STUDENT VILLAGE

From Monday 9th January to Friday 27th January the Dining Room at R&G will be available between meal times as follows:

  • Monday to Friday:30am to 4pm and 8pm to 10.30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday:12pm to 3.30pm and then 7pm to 10.30pm

The Study Room at R&G will also be open every day between 8am and 11pm.

CARNATIC STUDENT VILLAGE

From Monday 9th January to Friday 27th January the Herculaneum Room will be available as follows:

  • Monday to Friday:30am to 10.30pm
  • Saturdays and Sundays:7am to 6.30pm

The Herculaneum Room will also be available but there will be some occasions the room will need to shut because of conference activity (details below).

CROWN PLACE

Revision tables have been set up in the Common Room area to provide a study space over the exam period. Additionally, from Wednesday 11th January the Meeting Rooms at Crown Place will also be available for revision and quiet study.

DOVER COURT AND PHILHARMONIC COURT

Remember that your study rooms are available as normal throughout the exam period. In Dover Court the TV and X box will not be in use from 9th January to 30th January to allow the space to be used fully as a quiet study area.

VINE COURT

The Mezzanine Common Room and Mezzanine Dining Room are both available every day for quiet study and revision until the end of exams. If you live in Melville Grove or Tudor Close, don’t forget that you can use the facilities at Vine Court.

Good luck with your exams!
