The connection between natural settings and happiness has been recognised for a long time. Even the simple act of getting some fresh air, seeing wildlife and trees can help to lift our spirits. As the importance of our mental health has now taken centre stage in media and political discussions, there has never been a better time to harness the power of nature in giving our mental health a boost!
The Nature and Wellbeing events series invites students to reconnect with nature to recognise its importance in keeping us happy and healthy.
On Wednesday 21st November we will be running a special Roof Gardening session at the Guild, as gardening has been proven to have positive impacts on mental health.
