Accommodation

Leave Liverpool Tidy

By shelsank 10 May 2017

Leave Liverpool Tidy is a reduce, reuse, recycle project which aims to lower the amount of reusable items going to landfill across Merseyside.

When Liverpool students move out of their accommodation over summer and clear out items they no longer want, lots of waste is created. But it’s not waste, as most of it can be re-used or recycled. This is where Leave Liverpool Tidy steps in to collect, sort and redistribute items.

This year we’ve made it even easier for students to donate unwanted items. After teaming up with the Merseyside Textile Forum, we now provide six recycling banks across University of Liverpool halls.

If you have any unwanted clothes, shoes or other textiles then why not recycle? There will be Leave Liverpool Tidy bags distributed across your halls, collection is as:-

Crown Place Halls:

  • A central collection point will be set up (in the Green Guild Bike Store) for non- textile donations which will be collected by Guild Staff/Volunteers on he 19th& 20th June

If you have textile donations you will be signposted to the textile bank located on Peach Street car park.
