Will you be in Liverpool over the Christmas vacation? Are you looking for work? Free between Wednesday 3 – Saturday 6 January 2018?
During the winter holiday, the University will be hosting the Association for Science Education (ASE) Conference - a huge conference for about 2,500 science teachers. There are many opportunities for students to act as stewards at this event working for ASE.
The range of different tasks includes manning the registration desk, helping presenters set up their lectures, giving directions, staffing an information desk and working in the ASE conference office. There will also be work available in the large commercial conference exhibition, helping set-up stands, and supporting exhibitors and the conference exhibition manager.
You will be paid £8.50 an hour and you will be given a sweatshirt to wear during the event (which is yours to keep).
