Wi-Fi

The University's free Wi-Fi service, eduroam, is available in many areas of the University such as cafes, bars and communal areas in Halls of Residence. You can connect your device to our eduroam Wi-Fi  (https://wifi.liverpool.ac.uk/) using the Wireless Wizard once you're on campus in a Wi-Fi zone.

Halls of Residence

In our Halls of Residence you can connect your computer, or one of several supported games consoles, (https://wifi.liverpool.ac.uk/eduroam/halls/)  to the network using the wired network point in your room.

Download and install free software

You can install a wide range of software for free on your own device, including the latest version of Microsoft Office. Find out more by visiting www.liv.ac.uk/csd/software.

What help can I get?

If you'd like help to connect your own computer to the University's wired network or to the free Wi-Fi service, eduroam, (in available locations) you can speak to one of our staff based in Halls of Residence during the weekend of your arrival.

Where and when do I go?

Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September: 10:00am - 4:00pm

  • Carnatic (Senior Common Room, 1st Floor, Carnatic House)
  • Crown Place (Off main Reception next to conference rooms)
  • Greenbank (Library, Annexe)
  • Vine Court (Mezzanine Common Room above Reception area)
