Completing the Census 2021

By sophiebk 07 Apr 2021

Census Day was on 21st March, but you still have time to complete your census form online, it only takes ten minutes and your data is confidential. Don't leave yourself open to a fine of up to £1000 by not completing it.

By completing the Census, you’ll help make sure students get the services needed now and in the future - like jobs, training and university transport links. That’s why wherever you are, all students must be included in the census, you should complete it for your university address.

  • If you’re currently living at your university address, you should have received a letter containing an access code to complete the census online.
  • If you are not currently at your university address and cannot get your access code, you can request a new access code for your university address, which can be sent to you by text.
  • If you’re staying at home temporarily, you need to complete the census questionnaire for your university address as well as being included on the household questionnaire.

Complete your census now at www.census.gov.uk or for more information, visit www.census.gov.uk/students

Whether currently living in Halls or not, you can answer separately from your household if you’d prefer to keep your answers private. You will be able to request an access code to fill in an individual questionnaire at https://census.gov.uk/students
