Got a pesky puncture in your bike's wheel? No need to pay big bucks for a repair - there's a cycle club at Carnatic that can help!
The Carnatic Cycle Club is open every Monday from 7 – 9pm in the Carnatic wardens garage - near McNair Hall.
The club will help any University of Liverpool student or member of staff that turns up to the garage with bike repair and maintenance - teaching you how to fix it along the way!
The garage is equipped with all the tools necessary for complete bike maintenance and repair and has simple consumables such as inner tubes - to repair punctures - and cables.
If your maintenance requires more complex components, you might need to buy in replacements (e.g. chain, wheels etc.). However, the club can advise the best replacements to get if you come along.
Not sure if you want to get a bike, but still want to try riding to uni? The cycle club have have fixed up some older bikes to a working condition - and you can borrow these for a set period of time too!
