The Carnatic Cycle Club is back up and running for the new semester.
Maybe cycling into Uni is your new year's resolution, or maybe you're more of a seasoned cyclist. Whatever your level of experience the Carnatic Cycle Club is here as your hub for all things bike, helping you fix your own bike and answering any cycle related questions.
Every Monday from 7pm-9pm the Club runs a DIY drop in bike workshop where you can come along to learn about how your bike works, how to maintain it and if you've got any problems with your bike, how to fix them.
No experience of using tools is necessary and there is always somebody on hand to help identify problems, explain how to fix them and how to use the tools at the workshop. The club doesn't sell parts but they can advise on the parts needed and where to buy them. Then once you've got the part you need they can help you with the repair and do a final check to ensure all has been done correctly before you're back on the road again.
The workshop is located in the garage in McNair car park and all students and staff are welcome to come along.
