Quarantine in Accommodation

By jhobson 17 Jun 2020

For our international students, the new government guidelines in the UK state that anyone coming from abroad will need to quarantine for 14 days on arrival

  • We will provide you with a temporary flat, shared with a couple of others that you travelled with, so you can safely isolate for this period
  • You'll arrive 14 days earlier than your contract start date, at no extra cost, so you can be ready to start your course on time
  • We’ll provide food, bedding and toiletries during this isolation period and stay in regular contact to provide any support we can offer
  • Once you have finished the quarantine period you'll be able to move into your term-time room with other students to join your new household in halls of residence

If you will need to quarantine on arrival in accommodation, you should let us know by email at accommodation@le.ac.uk so we can ensure you have the appropriate support in place. You should also let us know if you need to quarantine at any point during your contract (i.e. if you have returned home to another country).
