What is Nightline Leicester?
Nightline is a listening service run for students by students. The calls are taken by trained students at the University of Leicester, with phone lines open 8pm-8am daily during term time.
Why should I call Nightline?
Nightline is a non-advisory, non-judgemental, non-directive, confidential and anonymous listening service. You can share as much or as little as you like.
There are many reasons for calling Nightline, no problem is too small.
Someone may call Nightline to talk about a problem, to ask for information, or just to have a chat; all calls are important. Here are a few examples:
- Feeling stressed
- Feeling lonely
- Relationship problems
- Need a taxi number
- Want a chat with someone
- Money worries
