Join us throughout LGBT+ History Month for a range of exciting events celebrating equality and diversity at the University of Leicester.

As part of the month long celebration in the UK's most diverse city, we are hosting a series of events to raise awareness and educate on matters that affect the LGBT+ community.

We'll be holding film screenings, talks from academics, actors and activists, and discussion sessions, kicking off with the Pride March on Friday 1 February. You'll be sure to find something that interests you!

All events are free and many are open to the public as well as students and staff of the University of Leicester.

Check out all the events here!

Getting Support

Need some advice and support on LGBT+ issues? There's plenty of people you can get in touch with! Look out for university staff wearing LGBT+ Allies pride lanyards that can support and signpost you to the appropriate services. The Students' Union has a dedicated LGBT+ officer to represent LGBT students and an LGBT society to help you become a part of the LGBT community at the University of Leicester!

We want to make sure you have an enjoyable time at university, if you witness or experience behaviour that concerns or upsets you, let us know using our easy online reporting system.

Check out more of the support and advice available to students at the University of Leicester here!
