New Year's Resolutions
New Year's Resolutions for 2018!
People have all sorts of things that they will want to achieve this year, some may have the classics like getting more healthy or stopping smoking. Others may have larger goals like travelling or getting a new job. All things are achievable if you put your mind to them, but these are some simple New Years Resolutions to get you started!
1. Be more organised
Student life can be so busy! Especially at this time of year when revision is in full swing, it's easy to let things slip. It might be a good idea to spend some time organising lecture notes and revision notes, so that when you move back to Uni, you'll have more time to actually get some revision done!
2. Get more sleep
This one is so important. Bodies and brains need sleep to function. Plus who doesn't love an extra hour in bed! If you struggle to sleep, have a look at the University Webpages to help you. It's so good for you, getting an early night in now and then is definitely a good idea.
3. Drink more water
This is an easy one! Simply having a glass of water in the morning before you go out, or a glass before bed. Anything to increase your water intake for the day. You could even use the Loughborough Cup!
4. Exercise More
This one is a classic. But especially when exams are looming its important to have a break and let off some steam. Exercising is an easy way to have a productive break from revision. Check out the My Lifestyle FREE Activity Timetable for ideas!
5. Make time for yourself
Be it watching your fave tv show each day, or treating yourself to a milkshake, it's important to make time for yourself! Switch your phone off and read a book before bed, or go for a nice walk wrapped up in a warm coat, simply doing something you like to do each day is only going to make you happier!
Whatever you choose as a New Year's Resolution, we hope you can keep to it!
