What's happening this March in Edinburgh?

By BzBarlow 28 Feb 2019

We've been treated to some glorious weather in February but what does March have in store?

Not only is it Pancake Day this month (Tuesday 5th) but it's International Women's Day too (Friday 8th.) Oh, and don't forget Mother's Day is on 31st March!

If you're looking to get out and about in Edinburgh though, here are some options...

Scottish Snowdrop Festival
Friday 1st March - Sunday 10th March 2019
If you want a relaxing day out, join a walk around the Royal Botanic Gardens to see the stunning Spring Snowdrops

Scotland's smallest comedy festival! If you're in the mood for some laughs, entry is just £3 per day and you can see some of the finest comedians around.

Irish charm is coming to Scotland for St Patrick's Day! Across the week there will be a range of entertainment, from comedy shows to traditional Irish music and dance.

Six Nations Super Saturday
Saturday 16th March
If you've been following it so far, Six Nations Super Saturday will be a big date in your calendar. The Edinburgh Corn Exchange is showing all games on the big screen and offering some great packages on food and drink. Otherwise, head to your nearest pub!

True OriGINs: The Scotland Gin Festival

It's a trend that doesn't seem to end! If your favourite tipple is a gin, then this where you need to be. Enjoy Scottish gins, masterclasses, live music, Scottish-inspired street food and plenty of botanicals
