The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is nearly upon us and soon you will see the city centre come alive, oozing with art and artists, food and drink stalls, and plenty of entertainment!
The Fringe Festival is a great opportunity to get out and explore the city, check out some amazing acts, and try a plethora of new cuisine.
If you don't know what the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is...
It is the biggest celebration of arts and culture on the planet. Thousands of performers from all over the world take to one of the many stages across the city, not to mention the streets fill up with music, food, drink and market stalls, all for your enjoyment.
If you're still unsure of WHY you should check out the Fringe...
It is totally open to all. A lot of the shows and performances are FREE and most of what's going on in the streets is open to all as well. From big names in the entertainment world to unknown artists, there really is something for everyone, including theatre, dance, comedy, circus, musicals, music, opera, cabaret, spoken word, physical theatre, exhibitions and events.
Some of the performances do cost though, so you might want to get your tickets now before they all sell out!
