Uni's finished! - How to unwind after exams
The end of year is here and it’s time to relax, unwind and enjoy yourself after all the hard work and stress of deadlines and exams. It’s your time to let off some steam and focus on giving yourself some much needed “me time”.
There’s so much going on around campus, with a summer ball last week and an end of year Fiesta party at Bishop Gate’s Courtyard on Wednesday 15th May. It’s a great time to get involved in some celebrations to end the year in style. The Fiesta party will include the Doritos Mariachi band, live DJ and free paella. Book your tickets here.
Or just chill!
Get out and enjoy relaxing in the decent weather we’re having. Throw on your sunnies and throw a book or mag into your bag and pop to Memorial Park or Coombe Abbey. You could pack up a picnic and venture over to Kenilworth or Stratford. Hire some boats out and relax in the parks with a nice frap!
De-cluttering can help to de-stress you and help unwind and clear your mind. So enjoy ripping up those revision notes and taking down post its, wall charts and revision calendars! Clearing your room and leaving it in the best condition can also help you to avoid any costs or fines when you leave.
See mates back home
If you’re feeling a bit deflated about leaving university to go home for the summer, think about all the catch ups you can have with your mates back home. Arrange a night out or big get together for when you get back home so you have something to look forward to.
Plan a summer of adventure
Plan a fun summer of activities and holidays and that will instantly lift your mood and help you relax after exams, as you think about all the things to look forward to. Day trips, road trips, festivals, holidays, nights out, there’s so much to look forward to and no deadlines to worry about anymore. Happy Days!
