Look good for less this Autumn

By FLsm 21 Oct 2019

As part of our sustainability campaign in halls, we’re also providing you with some tips and advice on how to save money and how to live more of a sustainable lifestyle. This autumn, treat yourself to some stylish new clothes for less, from coats and jumpers to boots and scarves and feel ready to embrace those darker mornings and nights in style.

Craft and Flea market

Trawl the vintage rails at Coventry’s craft and flea market at Coventry Cathedral and find yourself a hidden gem. The cathedral is brimming full of market stalls with independent makers and designers offering vintage clothes and antiques, so you can have a mooch about and may find yourself a bargain or even a special gift that you can put away for a loved one for Christmas.

Vintage Shops

There are a great selection of vintage shops in the city centre where you can pick up something a bit unique. Check out Milk Vintage in the Burges and discover some hot items handpicked from Tokyo and New York. https://www.facebook.com/milkvintagecov/videos/1014475525429535/

Charity Shops

Miss Angel's Vintage Emporium is now based within The Myton Hospices on Gosford Street. So if you fancy a bit of vintage as well as helping the community, check out this great store. It's located near Coventry University's library so why not pop in between lectures and pick up a bargain.

Earlsdon high street is also full of charity shops and it’s been known that you can pick up some designer items too. From designer handbags for only a fiver to tops and coats that only cost a fraction of the high street store price, you could easily pick up a few essentials to help fill out your Autumn wardrobe.
