Need some support and advice?

By bzbeth 17 Oct 2017

Sometimes at university, you just need (or want) someone to talk to about all the different things going on...

That's why we have the Student Advice Centre to help you with any personal, financial or academic problems you might have.

Academic support For some people, adjusting to university education can be difficult but not to worry because we can help! Whether you're worried about exams, coursework or maybe even your course, come and see us for all our different services:

  • Academic skills sessions
  • Maths Learning Centre
  • Opportunities to study abroad
  • Information Literacy (LETS)
  • Writing Centre
  • Tandem Language Learning

We will also try our best to answer any of your questions about transfers, deferrals or progressing in your course.

Personal support - This is just as important as your studies at DCU because you need to be happy whilst you're here! If you're not, the Student Advisers can help you with a lot of things, including:

  • Financial advice/support
  • Healthcare
  • Counselling
  • Disability support
  • Clubs & societies activities
